Yorkville Cross Country is one of the most prominent programs in the state.

The girls program has qualified for the state meet 11 years in a row, starting the streak in 2008-2009. The girls team placed second in the state in 2010, 2011, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The girls team also won five consecutive state titles in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

The boys program has qualified for the state meet 11 years in a row. The boys team placed third in the state in 2013 and 2016 while winning state titles in 2014 and 2015.
