College & Career Readiness

SchooLinks, Yorkville High School’s college and career readiness platform, supports our commitment and investment in your future. Starting Fall 2025, students will have access to this innovative tool and will continue to use it through high school graduation. SchooLinks is an integral part of our counseling curriculum, providing students with the tools to learn about careers, colleges, and financial literacy. It also houses a student's Individualized Learning Plan (ILP), a 4-year plan that guides their academic and career journey.

Parents and guardians, you are not left out. You have access to this powerful tool and can create an account linked to your student's account. SchooLInks allows you to actively support your student’s plan by using the tool to research careers and colleges, as well as work-based learning opportunities. You can also provide support as your student navigates the Advisory program and views their assessment results. You are an essential part of your student's journey, and SchooLinks and yoru counseling team are available to support you.

Students can track a variety of experiences in SchooLinks, including community service and volunteer hours, work experiences, team challenges, and more. This tracking is not just a record, but a tool to help students reflect on their experiences and plan for their future. Use the Experience Tracking document to visualize the opportunities that can be tracked and the steps for entering these experiences to assist in college, career, and life readiness.

If you have questions about using SchooLinks, please reach out to your student’s school counselor.
